Sam worked in the lab from 2002 until 2006. He studied the evolution of multiple antibiotic resistance in Salmonella. He was also interested in the regulation of metabolic pathways in S. cerevisiae during fermentation. Sam's thesis was entitled: "Evolution of antibiotic resistant Salmonella".
