Lab Research

Jason was a graduate student in the lab from 2004 to 2008. He worked on milk spoilage microbes with the MQIP lab, particularly on Bacillus and Paenibacillus. The title of his thesis was “Molecular subtyping and characterization of psychrotolerant endospore-forming bacteria in fluid milk production systems: from farm to table”.  Jason went on to be Manager of Cornell’s Dairy Plant.
