Hannibal was a 2016 Food Science Summer Scholar working with Rachel Miller and Sarah Beno on characterizing Bacillus and Paenibacillus. A native Floridian, his past experiences include studying probiotic effectiveness in chickens and work on nutritional policy in the Capitol. He entertains himself in his spare time with film, trivia, and interesting cuisine. His brother, Malcolm, was a fellow Summer Scholar.
