Lab Research

Angela was a graduate student in the lab from 2000 until 2004. She used tissue culture and genetic approaches to investigate the effects of allelic variations in virulence genes (focusing on actA), host specificity and virulence in Listeria monocytogenes. The title of her dissertation was: “Virulence differences among Listeria monocytogenes strains and clonal groups”.
